What you'll do
- Own day-to-day community management and engagement strategy across TikTok, Instagram, X, and Threads, prioritizing TikTok and Instagram, with Threads, X, and organic-only Facebook as secondary channels
- Write sharp, on-brand copy for captions, community posts, replies, and real-time engagement moments that capture each client’s distinct voice
- Proactively identify and execute conquesting opportunities — engaging in trending conversations, culture-defining posts, and other high-visibility spaces beyond owned channels to expand reach and grow fandom
- Monitor conversations in real time and respond to fan comments, DMs, and mentions with speed, personality, and brand-appropriate tone
- Stay immersed in social trends, internet culture, memes, and emerging platform features to spot timely engagement opportunities before they peak
- Build and maintain organized engagement trackers, community guidelines, and response protocols to keep every account running smoothly and consistently
- Compile basic performance reporting — engagement rates, community growth, and top-performing moments — to inform ongoing engagement strategy
- Partner closely with Social Media Managers and Strategy Coordinators to align community engagement with broader content and campaign calendars
- Flag emerging fan sentiment, potential issues, and standout community moments to the broader team
- Support editorial calendar execution and ensure timely, detail-oriented publishing and engagement across all platforms

Position Overview
We are seeking a Community Manager who will be a key player on our social team, responsible for building and growing vibrant, engaged communities for our clients.
This role centers on engagement strategy, sharp copywriting, and a finely tuned instinct for social trends…Turning every comment, reply, and cultural moment into an opportunity to grow fandom and drive brand love and engagement impact for some of the world’s leading global brands.
The Community Manager will own the day-to-day voice of our clients across social platforms, writing scroll-stopping copy and proactively engaging fans wherever they gather: in owned comments and DMs, on trending posts, and anywhere else a conquesting opportunity exists to connect authentically with new and existing audiences. This role calls for a witty, on-brand writing style paired with a conquesting mindset, always scanning for the next big moment to jump into. Using social listening tools and the platforms themselves, this person will dig into conversations to spot “surprise and delight” opportunities, finding standout community members and creative ways to partner with them.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media, or copywriting (agency and CPG brand experience a plus); we’re looking for someone at a senior, analyst level, given the autonomy and visibility this role requires
- Exceptional copywriting skills, with a knack for adapting tone and voice across multiple brands
- Deep, current knowledge of social platforms, internet culture, and emerging trends — you’re the person in the room who saw it first
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; comfortable juggling multiple client accounts and a high volume of daily engagement
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially under fast-moving, real-time conditions
- Working knowledge of social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite) for scheduling and basic reporting; familiarity with Airtable a plus
- A proactive, opportunity-seeking mindset — always scanning for the next moment to jump into
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location and Salary
This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $75K - $110K, depending on experience. This is an EST remote position, NYC location preferred.
