What you'll do
- Run our national volunteer campaigns
- Lead our two biggest annual campaigns — a volunteer recruitment drive and a fundraising campaign — from planning through execution.
- Design how we mobilize thousands of volunteers, using group messaging, gamification, and rewards to drive participation.
- Plan and run recruitment events and volunteer onboarding, working directly with our regional program teams.
- Pull together and lead a small campaign team each cycle — briefing them, keeping the work on track, and troubleshooting as you go.
- Own ambitious, measurable targets: this year, that means 80% of our communities running a recruitment event, 90% of new volunteers getting a proper onboarding, and ₹3Cr raised through our fundraising campaign.
- Build our volunteer leader community
- Run a national online community for our most senior, engaged volunteer leaders — the people who lead in their own local communities.
- Keep it active with regular conversations, recognition, and peer learning.
- Watch for early signs someone's disengaging, and act on it before it turns into a drop-off.
- Be the main channel we use to share important updates with this group.
- Build volunteer retention from scratch
What they're looking for
- A bias toward action. You build the first draft yourself rather than waiting for a finished playbook, especially when the path isn't clear yet.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You'll be the voice behind campaigns and communities reaching hundreds of people at a time — every message you send sets the tone.
- Strong stakeholder management. You're comfortable getting buy-in and alignment from people you don't directly manage.
- A feel for what drives participation. Gamification, incentives, and campaign momentum come naturally to you.
- 1–3 years of experience in community building, volunteer engagement, campaign management, or program management.
- Genuine initiative. You're equally comfortable running an established process and building a new one from zero.
- Comfort with everyday digital tools — group messaging platforms plus basic tracking tools like Sheets, Trello, Asana, or Notion — to stay organized without over-engineering.
