Vet Services is looking for an experienced Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our expanding Hastings team in a full-time senior clinical and Team Lead role.

This is an opportunity to continue doing the clinical work you enjoy while taking on greater responsibility for clinical leadership, mentoring and developing others, and helping shape the future of our Companion Animal service.

Whether you’re an experienced Team Lead or a senior veterinarian ready for your first leadership role, we’re looking for someone with strong clinical capability, sound judgement and a genuine interest in supporting and developing others.

The opportunity

You’ll join an experienced and supportive team of veterinarians, nurses and support staff, with a varied caseload across consultations, internal medicine and surgery, including opportunities for soft-tissue and orthopaedic procedures.

As Team Lead, you’ll provide senior clinical guidance, mentor colleagues, support clinical decision-making and help build a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

You’ll work alongside the Production and Equine Team Leads in Hastings and the wider Companion Animal leadership team across Vet Services, giving you the opportunity to bring your ideas, collaborate and help shape the future of our services.

We support our vets to develop their areas of interest, which currently include small mammals, birds and exotics, soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgery, acupuncture and rehabilitation, and ultrasonography.
