About this Position

Our Total Rewards team supports Texas Mutual employees by providing competitive compensation and benefits programs.

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working with data and systems. You will provide operational support across compensation and benefits, including reporting, annual program administration, compliance activities, employee communications, and process improvement. Your work will help strengthen the employee experience and internal processes.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You can expect to:

  • Support the administration and daily delivery of compensation and benefits programs.

  • Process Workday transactions and maintain accurate compensation and benefits data.

  • Support annual Total Rewards programs, including merit planning, incentive administration, salary structure updates, and open enrollment.

  • Respond to employee questions and provide guidance about compensation, benefits, wellness, and other Total Rewards programs.

  • Develop employee communications, educational materials, program resources, and intranet content.

  • Coordinate and support employee benefits and wellness events and programs.

  • Support program enhancements and the implementation of new Total Rewards programs.

  • Maintain program documentation, supporting records, data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance materials.

  • Document and improve processes, workflows, and job aids while identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency, and automation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.

  • At least two years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Experience supporting both compensation and benefits functions.

  • Experience using Workday or another human capital management system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional designation, also known as SHRM-CP.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting.

Texas Mutual Pay Transparency

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Base Pay Range: $84,699.10 - $104,628.30 Per Year

Flex-Hybrid Work Environment:

Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
