The Project Coordinator will enhance the experience of Shaw associates through Total Rewards and other associate-centered initiatives. This role could be filled at either a Coordinator or Manager level based on the candidate's skills, experience, leadership capabilities, and demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and strategic initiatives. The scope and level of ownership will be aligned accordingly.
This role serves as a key contributor in designing, improving, communicating, and measuring the associate experience across the employment lifecycle. The Project Coordinator will support and/or lead research, project management, communications, vendor partnerships, digital experience enhancements, and implementation of programs that help Shaw attract, engage, and retain associates.
The position requires a combination of curiosity, project management, relationship building, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Key responsibilities include researching emerging trends, managing projects and timelines, coordinating vendor activities, maintaining associate-facing tools and resources, supporting communication campaigns, gathering associate feedback, analyzing program effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement. The Project Coordinator will partner closely with Total Rewards, Health & Wellness, HR Operations, HRIT, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, Learning & Development, Analytics, vendor partners, and other stakeholders to translate associate needs into meaningful solutions.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about creating exceptional associate experiences. The individual must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing execution with strategic thinking, and collaborating across functions to achieve results.
Location Requirements:
Hybrid role requiring office presence in Dalton, GA, two to three days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Associate Experience leadership to develop, execute, and continuously improve initiatives that support Shaw's Total Rewards and associate experience strategies.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, implementation, communication, measurement, and stakeholder alignment.
- Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, innovative programs, and best practices that may enhance the associate experience.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
- Support or lead vendor relationships, including vendor evaluations, RFP processes, implementation activities, performance reviews, and ongoing management.
- Create and maintain associate-facing resources including SharePoint sites, Workday content, communications, training materials, and other digital touchpoints.
- Coordinate associate awareness campaigns, onboarding content, annual enrollment activities, program launches, and other engagement initiatives.
- Establish scalable processes, documentation standards, and governance practices to support sustainable program administration.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- One to three years of relevant experience in project coordination, communications, human resources, associate experience, marketing, operations, account management, or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, and related tools.
- Limited travel required (likely two to four times annually).
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.

- Experience with project management tools preferred.
