What you'll do
- Load, transport, unload, and furnish crew with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
- Grade checking
- Help place and rake concrete
- Set and remove pavement, barrier, curb, and sidewalk forms
- Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman
- Safely handle electric and gas-powered hand tools, such as circular saws, drills, and cut-off saws.
- Use tape measure, folding rule, and 4ft level.

Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, unload, and furnish crew with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
- Grade checking
- Help place and rake concrete
- Set and remove pavement, barrier, curb, and sidewalk forms
- Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman
- Safely handle electric and gas-powered hand tools, such as circular saws, drills, and cut-off saws.
- Use tape measure, folding rule, and 4ft level.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Be willing to work on projects up to 3.5 hours from home
- For projects 1.5 hours +, compensation for travel expenses are available
- Kokosing is a drug-free workplace
Experience:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in associated Heavy Highway Laborer work preferred, but not required
- Experience in the concrete industry is a strong plus
- Current STP, OSHA 10 Hour, or OSHA 30 Hour
- Kokosing will facilitate STP and OHSA training for those lacking the certifications
