What you'll do

  • Conduct machinery health inspections utilizing predictive maintenance (PdM) tools (Thermography, Ultrasound, and Vibration Analysis, etc.).
  • Act as the primary specialist responsible for precision equipment lubrication, utilizing ultrasound-assisted greasing techniques to prevent bearing failure and optimize equipment lifespan.
  • Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log, track, and document predictive work orders.
  • Partner closely with Reliability Engineers to optimize and scale the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.
  • Interpret complex diagnostic data to identify early-stage equipment degradation and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing, refining, and executing predictive & preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and minor corrective actions on faulted equipment identified during diagnostic runs.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, with the proven ability to proactively identify facility needs, initiate tasks, and drive maintenance activities to completion without direct supervision or daily instruction.

Description of Duties:

The Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Specialist supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

As a key member of our Reliability Team on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract, the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Specialist supports critical Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility infrastructure. In this role, you will perform advanced condition monitoring and predictive diagnostics on building mechanical and electrical systems to prevent unplanned downtime and ensure mission readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct machinery health inspections utilizing predictive maintenance (PdM) tools (Thermography, Ultrasound, and Vibration Analysis, etc.).
  • Act as the primary specialist responsible for precision equipment lubrication, utilizing ultrasound-assisted greasing techniques to prevent bearing failure and optimize equipment lifespan.
  • Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log, track, and document predictive work orders.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong technical writing capability for drafting diagnostic and inspection findings reports.

Compensation Details:

$45.67/hr – $60.09/hr
