Confirmed FP&A Analyst

Your Mission

We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at BlaBlaCar, whose mission is to structure, analyze, forecast and monitor BlaBlaCar’s activity and financial results. 

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, in a multicultural team of 11, your role will be to act as a link between finance and business. Your primary role will involve providing a financial business partnering to the Engineering department, responsible for developing our platform. You will also take part in supporting different commercial business units (incl. Carpooling, Bus Marketplace and Train) and Product & Marketing department.

Your responsibilities 

• Forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis of Engineering, Product & Growth departments,

• Presentation of financial results to the management,

• Development and maintenance of reports related to the commercial scope (Carpooling, Bus Marketplace, Train),

• Support the monthly reporting process, acting as a coordinator within FP&A and with Accounting teams to ensure reporting timelines are respected and presentations updated in a timely manner,

• Reviewing, approving and controlling the costs, ensuring high financial discipline,

• Reviewing and approving contracts signed by Engineering department, to ensure that financial terms are favorable, 

• Controlling personnel costs in assigned scope,

• Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports.
  
  
  

Your qualifications 

• Bachelor or master degree in finance, economics, econometrics or similar discipline,

• Previous finance experience (at least 1-2 years), FP&A experience strongly preferred,

• An analytical mindset, 

• Strong business acumen,

• Strong communication skills,

• You are eager to understand financial processes to collect and analyze data,

• Willingness to learn,

• Full working proficiency in English, advanced French strongly preferred,

• Nice to have: experience in a tech company, experience with a reporting tool (Pigment, TM1, Anaplan…), BI tool (Power BI, Tableau).
