What you'll do

  • Support and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of Telematics and Connectivity components and systems.
  • Plan, monitor, and execute development of hardware and software requirements to guarantee on-time project delivery.
  • Development, implementation and testing of requirements throughout the V Cycle
  • Functional and diagnostic testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
  • Employ industry best practices and trends during the development process.
  • Adherence to UNECE Regulations and Standards to ensure successful homologation (UNR144, 155 & 156 etc.).
  • Communicating with, advising, and supporting our customers and internal development teams
  • Support and liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver leading vehicle components

  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive, electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Good overall vehicle E/E systems knowledge
  • Experience in Automotive Lifecycle, Product Delivery and technical problem solving
  • Knowledge of automotive vehicle systems and architectures
  • Familiar with Application Software development and network communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
  • Knowledge of Industry standards and regulations such as ISO 21434, UNECE R144, R155 & R156, ISO26262 and ISO14229 (UDS).
  • Understanding of eCall requirements and implementation
  • Knowledge of OTA, Remote diagnostics and other connected topics
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as WiFi 802.11, 4G LTE, 5G etc.
  • Experience in the field of software development for ECUs, specifically for telematics and infotainment systems
  • Experience with requirements management tools (Polarion, Doors, etc.)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

  • German knowledge is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Software stacks, Microsar, MISRA C is a plus.

Job Description

As a Connectivity Systems Engineer you will support and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of Telematics and Connectivity components and systems. You will also plan, monitor, and execute development of hardware and software requirements to guarantee on-time project delivery.

This includes development, implementation and testing of requirements throughout the V Cycle and also functional and diagnostic testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs). Additionally, industry best practices and trends should be employed during the development process.
