What you'll do
- Provide daily construction safety / EHS oversight for contractors and subcontractors
- Conduct jobsite inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and observations
- Review JHAs/JSAs, Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentation
- Coach trades and contractors on OSHA compliance and safe work practices
- Monitor MEP, electrical safety, NFPA 70E, LOTO, fall protection, scaffolding, confined space, hot work, excavation, cranes, rigging, and material handling
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and track corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926, client requirements, and site-specific safety programs

- Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction required

Construction Safety Specialist
Oceanport, NJ | Full-Time | CMI
Compliance Management International (CMI) is hiring an experienced Construction Safety Specialist for a construction project in Oceanport, NJ. This is a long-term career opportunity for a hands-on EHS/Safety Professional with strong construction, MEP, OSHA compliance, and field safety experience.
What You’ll Do
