Construction Supervisor (Pipeline)

Job Title: Construction Supervisor (Pipeline) Location: Qatar (Onshore) This opportunity is suited to a construction professional with strong pipeline, piping and tie-in expertise gained in onshore oil and gas projects. The role supports the safe and efficient delivery of brownfield and new facilities work, with involvement across construction supervision, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. This position offers broad site-based responsibility, coordinating contractors, inspections, quality plans and progress reporting within a technically demanding environment. Required Education: Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality and Construction, or a B.Sc. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university Required Experience: 10 years of experience in oil and gas projects 10 years of experience in pipeline and associated piping / tie-in works related to brownfield, stations, refinery and cross-country pipelines in the onshore oil and gas industry Experience supervising site construction and installation activities associated with mechanical, piping and pipeline works Exposure to testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new facilities in a brownfield environment Experience coordinating contractor mobilisation, site execution, inspections and construction documentation Required Skills: Strong knowledge of national and international codes, standards and specifications relevant to pipeline and mechanical construction Good supervisory, planning and coordination skills within multi-discipline construction projects Ability to inspect construction works and materials in line with project quality plans and inspection and test plans (ITPs) Capability to review design drawings, method statements, material requisitions, pre-commissioning procedures and as-built documentation Understanding of civil requirements and effective interface with civil works during mechanical execution Good command of English, both oral and written Strong communication and report writing skills QSHE awareness and the ability to support safe systems of work and permit to work compliance on site Ability to work effectively within a diverse cultural environment About Airswift: Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
