ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES:Business Requirements Elicitation and Critical Analysis –Functional expert, with strong knowledge of end-end business process on Calypso ApplicationExpected sphere of influence and collaboration is expected to be immediate team and interfacing teams.Skills involving negotiation and convincing are important, but person needn't be an expert.Train new joiners and team members functionally on the product, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Design and Solutioning (Impact Analysis and Validations)Liaise with all related Business and Support Unit stakeholders, including Product Owner, to analyse and challenge business requirements,Leading to functional specifications and detailed user storiesSuggest better ways of working and delivering the tasks assignedPresent domain related topics in relevant forums and discussionsHelp to implement decisions taken during IS Strategy Opco’s of her/his conurbationWork out the team's deliverables as per the planning chalked out by the POMake sure that all the deliverables are met as per time, cost and planTo help in implementing project/applications/services architecture and propose modificationsTo identify pain points and highlight the same along with some high-level solution proposalResearch to determine if solutions currently exist within calypso or required customizationStrengthen functional testing strategy definition and activitiesContribute to Product functional improvement with metrics on business usageValidate the effectiveness and coverage of test strategyPropose new ways of testing in line with evolving market standards/practices in QA area. Implementation Strategy and SupportProfile required8+ years hands on experience as a Business Analyst in CalypsoGood exposure on Calypso Backoffice function, Message setup, workflow, settlement (SWIFTS), strong knowledge on Accounting & statements, Settlement instruction, BO Positions & expert in customization around CalypsoProduct Knowledge on capital markets as Securities including Corporate Actions, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Listed and OTC DerivativesAble to trouble shoot & out of box thinking for the solutioning & designingOwnership attitude & good influencing skill is expectedHighly motivated, good communication, ability to follow the open point till the closure is expectedHands on writing sql for analysis & good to have Unix commands understanding & basic shell scriptsAgile environment exposure preferredMust have strong analytical skillsWhy join usWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
