What you'll do
- Conduct independent pre-commissioning HSE audits across both processing facilities.
- Assess ammonia refrigeration systems, including ammonia detection, alarms, interlocks, emergency shut-off systems, piping, vessels, valves, ventilation, scrubbers and emergency water-curtain systems.
- Evaluate emergency preparedness, including SCBA/PPE availability, eyewash stations, emergency response systems and wind indicators.
- Conduct electrical safety assessments, including thermographic scanning of LT/HT panels, MCCs, transformers, switchgear and cabling.
- Assess earthing systems, loop impedance, lightning protection, cable-tray fire-stopping and electrical safety controls.
- Review Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and explosion-proof/flameproof equipment compliance in ammonia zones.
- Evaluate fire protection systems, including fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, fire detection and alarm systems.
- Assess passive fire protection, including sandwich panels, fire compartmentation, fire-stops and penetration sealing.
- Validate On-Site Emergency Management Plans (OEMP), evacuation routes, emergency exits and assembly areas.
- Identify gaps, risks and non-conformities and provide actionable Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) recommendations.
- Prepare a comprehensive audit report covering observations, risk classification, compliance gaps and recommended corrective actions

Our client, a leading poultry and chicken processing company, is seeking experienced HSE Consultant to conduct a comprehensive, independent Pre-Commissioning Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Audit.
