Job Overview

The Content & Media (Deputy)Manager will play a central role in growing IRC Korea's sustainable fundraising income by developing and delivering broadcast-driven content and overseas field trips that fuel IRC Korea's TV, DRTV, and digital fundraising campaigns.

Working closely with broadcasters and production partners, this role leads the planning and execution of overseas filming trips, develops compelling storytelling content from the field, and produces TV and DRTV creative that supports the Fundraising Campaign team's integrated marketing strategy. The role owns the planning and day-to-day management of DRTV operations, including the dedicated DRTV call center, and executes TV/digital campaign activity in line with the strategy and targets set by the Fundraising Campaign Manager. The role manages production vendors directly involved in TV/DRTV content, field trips, and DRTV call center operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Field Trip Coordination & Broadcast Partnerships

  • Collaborate with broadcasters and production companies on joint content initiatives.

  • Plan and operate overseas field trips for content and story development.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to the Fundraising Campaign Manager, IRC Korea.

  • Works closely with the Communications Head and PR Manager in Korea.

  • Collaborates with Korean and international broadcasters, production companies, and media partners.

  • Coordinates with external production vendors and agencies including the DRTV call center operator.

  • Engages with IRC global communications and Mass Market Fundraising colleagues as needed.
