Are you a Contentious Probate Solicitor looking to join a highly regarded disputes team with a strong reputation for handling high-value and complex inheritance disputes?
An established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its successful team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists on a varied caseload while enjoying genuine career progression and flexible hybrid working.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of contentious probate matters, including:
- Inheritance Act 1975 claims
- Will validity disputes
- Executor and trustee disputes
- Proprietary estoppel claims
- Trust disputes
- Claims involving undue influence, lack of capacity and fraud
You will also have the opportunity to assist on complex, high-value matters and play an active role in business development and maintaining client relationships.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 2–6 years' PQE (applications outside this range will also be considered)
- Experience handling contentious probate or private wealth disputes
- Strong technical ability and excellent client care skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
