What you'll do

  • Support planning and execution of audits and inspections at FATP/CM sites, distribution centers, transit lanes, and third-party supplier locations in accordance with Amazon's manufacturing security standards
  • Assist senior auditors in coordinating with manufacturing locations and suppliers to schedule audits and on-site risk assessments
  • Help prepare for audits by gathering relevant information, distributing pre-audit questionnaires, and compiling audit plan documentation
  • Participate in on-site and remote audits to evaluate security controls at supplier locations under the guidance of senior team members
  • Identify deviations and gaps in prototype security management processes and document findings
  • Assist in generating audit reports documenting irregularities, discrepancies, and deviations from prescribed procedures

  • Help track corrective actions through to closure or completion
  • Perform on-site inspections and verifications of prototype device inventory, including physical counts, reconciliation against system records, and validation of critical materials

  • Support the end-to-end prototype lifecycle tracking, ensuring full chain-of-custody

The Amazon Specialized Businesses Security (SBS) organization is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Security Auditor for its Supply Chain and Intellectual Property Security (SCIPS) team. The Contract Manufacturing Security Auditor conducts audits and inspections at Final Assembly, Test and Packaging (FATP) / Contract Manufacturing (CM) sites, distribution centers, transit lanes, and other third-party supplier locations where Amazon products are manufactured, moved, stored, and disposed of. Security management system audits are carried out in accordance with Amazon's internal standards. The role monitors compliance with contractual requirements, assesses the effectiveness of security implementations, and provides ongoing support to site security personnel at vendor service providers.

This role interacts with stakeholders and cross-functional partners on a regular basis and may involve handling confidential information, requiring a high level of integrity, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. Additionally, the position provides program security support for all consumer electronic devices prior to public release and supports the overall security posture for the devices division.
