What you'll do

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned CMOs and critical injection moulding suppliers on day-to-day manufacturing, assembly, and engineering topics.
  • Support scaling and capacity expansion for injection moulded parts across our contract manufacturers and critical suppliers.
  • Coordinate injection moulding industrialisation projects, driving yield improvement, throughput optimisation, cost reduction, and process stabilisation.
  • Track key injection moulding KPIs such as cycle time, OEE, yield, and scrap, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions with CMO and supplier teams.
  • Facilitate recurring project and performance meetings, tracking priorities and following up on agreed actions and commitments.
  • Support NPI and product change activities for injection moulded parts, coordinating builds, process readiness, and manufacturing feedback.
  • Support verification and validation of injection moulding processes, machines, and equipment (including IQ/OQ/PQ) to meet Medical Device Regulation requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement between ViCentra and its suppliers using Lean and structured problem solving methodologies.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Around 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, supply chain engineering, or project-based roles within an outsourced manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to injection moulding of plastic components.
  • Hands-on experience working with external manufacturers or suppliers producing high volume, high precision plastic components.
  • A solid understanding of injection moulding process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • The ability to manage operational and project activities in parallel in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and structured communication skills, with fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries (ISO 13485) is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies, and experience supporting NPI into manufacturing, are welcome.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab), mould flow analysis, or 3D CAD/SolidWorks is a bonus.

As Contract Manufacturing Specialist, Injection Moulding, you will help turn ViCentra's ambition to scale into reality on the factory floor. Working hand in hand with our Contract Manufacturing Organisations and critical suppliers, you will be the operational driving force behind the high precision plastic parts that make our wearable insulin devices possible, keeping quality, delivery, capacity, and cost on target every step of the way.

As we scale production to reach more people living with diabetes, you will be the person who keeps industrialisation projects moving, resolves process issues at the source, and builds the supplier partnerships that make growth dependable. 🔧 What You’ll Take On

In your role, you will:
