What you'll do

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements, ensuring the integrity of both ITW enterprise reporting and internal StampTech management reporting while providing analysis and insights that drive business performance and informed decision-making.
  • Mentor the Accounting Manager to effectively lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities for the Division while maintaining compliance with ITW policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
  • Develop and mentor the Financial Analyst through coaching, analytical skill development, and exposure to cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate operational performance metrics (KPIs) including labor productivity, material productivity, inventory performance, sourcing initiatives, and manufacturing cost performance.
  • Coordinate monthly variance analysis of financial and operational performance compared to Outlook, Annual Plan, and prior year results, partnering with the Financial Analyst, Operations, Sourcing, Commercial, and Division leadership to understand business drivers, communicate insights, and identify opportunities for improvement and forecast alignment.
  • Lead the monthly business review process, ensuring alignment between operational performance, financial results, forecasting assumptions, and strategic priorities.
  • Lead the monthly Outlook, Annual Plan and Long-Range Plan through a solid operational and financial analysis process across the Division.
  • Business Partner to Plant Leadership and the Division Sourcing Manager to identify and execute productivity and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Support execution of ITW's 80/20 Front-to-Back strategy through operational analytics and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Develop financial models and business cases supporting capital investments, productivity projects, automation initiatives, and strategic opportunities.
  • Monitor and improve working capital performance through analysis of inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
