  • Contract Management (e.g., maintain organized records of all contracts, including saving revised and executed versions using established naming conventions, monitor and track automatic renewals, expirations, and notice deadlines, prepare signature packets and coordinate execution of agreements)
  • Compliance and Licensing (e.g., support the tracking and timely filing of state licensing and registration renewals)
  • Form and Document Management (e.g. maintain and update precedent documents and templates, conduct periodic reviews of lease forms to maintain consistency with lease and operational updates)
  • Legal Support and Intake (e.g., serve as the first point of contact for routine legal requests, providing initial support and escalating matters to the legal team as appropriate)
  • Administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, legal/compliance invoice tracking/management, assist with legal/compliance task coordination/prioritization)
  • Entity Management (e.g., assist with the formation of new entities, maintaining good standing compliance, maintaining corporate organizational chart, routine governmental filings/applications)
  • Research/Legislative Monitoring (e.g., initial research and tracking of legislation related to SFR, property management, etc.)
  • Corporate Governance (e.g., maintaining minute book and other corporate records)
  • Document Preparation (e.g., create initial drafts of routine documentation such as consents, standard form agreements, etc.)
  • Covenant Compliance (e.g., review and summarize various high impact transaction documentation)
  • Diligence Assistance (e.g., populating data rooms, reviewing documents before being uploaded, etc.)
  • Litigation assistance, as needed

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong understanding of corporate and contract law
  • Proven experience with licensing, regulation and compliance matters

  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project simultaneously

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our legal and compliance team. This role is instrumental in supporting a wide range of legal and compliance functions, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting legal and regulatory compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong contract and entity management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset. It is an office-based position based in our Dallas Downtown headquarters.


The Role:
