Your tasks: 📌

  • Handling national and international tax matters for the corporate group

  • Preparing tax returns and tax balance sheets

  • Calculating current and deferred taxes in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, and determining the effective tax rate (ETR)

  • Supporting quarterly tax reporting and tax accounting, as well as tax reporting obligations (CbCR, Pillar Two, DAC6)

  • Communicating with tax authorities, internal departments, domestic and foreign subsidiaries, and external tax advisors

  • Providing support on transfer pricing issues and intra-group financing structures

  • Analyzing the tax implications of reorganizations, M&A projects, and international business transactions

  • Participating in the implementation and further development of the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS)

  • Supporting the introduction and further development of digital tax tools (e.g., LucaNet)

  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and deriving recommendations for action

Your profile: 🔎

  • A successfully completed degree with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification (e.g., Certified Tax Specialist (m/f/d) or Certified Accountant (m/f/d) with several years of relevant professional experience)

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the tax department of an internationally active corporate group, at an auditing/tax consulting firm, or in the tax administration (e.g., as a Diplom Finanzwirt) is required

  • In-depth knowledge of German corporate tax law

  • Good knowledge of tax accounting (HGB and IFRS)

  • Knowledge of transfer pricing is a plus

  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel (knowledge of SAP and/or Lucanet is a plus)

  • Good written and spoken English skills

  • Analytical and structured approach to work, as well as strong teamwork skills
