Counsel - Litigation (San Diego)

Overview

Nelson Mullins is seeking attorneys to join its litigation team in San Diego. This role can be located in San Diego, Torrance, or Downtown Los Angeles. As an AmLaw60 law firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to candidates who want to be part of a dynamic team in a growing location. The ideal candidates have strong complex civil and commercial litigation experience working in a mid-size or large law firm.

 

A Day in the Life

You will be joining a team of trial lawyers and litigators in San Diego who practice in the areas of complex litigation, products liability defense including knowledge of the Song-Beverly Act, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and class action litigation. The team has tried numerous jury trials to verdicts in various jurisdictions as well as in state and federal court in California.

We Know You

You have at least 8+ years of meaningful litigation experience in complex litigation, class action, and products liability. You are able to draft and prepare pleadings and discovery, prepare for, take, and defend depositions, manage document production, argue discovery and other motions, and adept at case management. You are a first-rate communicator who possesses outstanding written and oral advocacy skills. You will bring an entrepreneurial spirit to our growing office. Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, please find the compensation range specific to this role based in the state of California. San Diego, California pay range for this role, with final offer amount depending on experience is $225,000 - $275,000.
