  • Serve as the tax leader for Hitachi Energy India and a strategic business partner to leadership, finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and project teams.
  • Provide tax advice on business initiatives, cross-border structuring, restructurings, acquisitions, commercial transactions, tendering processes, project execution, and new business models.

  • Manage tax audits, assessments, disputes, litigation, and transfer pricing controversies in close alignment with the Tax Leadership Team.
  • Ensure compliance with listed entity requirements, including reporting significant tax litigation matters to SEBI and providing regular updates to the Audit Committee and Board on key tax developments.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and other digital projects, with a focus on automation, controls, process standardization, data quality, and governance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing tax team by setting clear goals, strengthening succession planning, fostering accountability and collaboration, and ensuring effective resource planning.

The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as Tax Manager India, responsible for overseeing the company's tax strategy, governance, and compliance across India.
