What’s the opportunity?

 

Evolution are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Electrical Tradesperson at our Cowal Gold Operation, you will be responsible for safely executing planned and breakdown maintenance across our processing plant and associated infrastructure. Working within a collaborative maintenance team, you will support equipment reliability through quality workmanship, fault finding, defect identification and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Based at our Cowal Gold Operations your key responsibilities will be:

 

• Execute planned and breakdown electrical maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Perform fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Identify, report and rectify equipment defects and abnormal operating conditions.
• Support shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment commissioning.
• Maintain compliance with site safety standards, isolation procedures and electrical regulations.
• Provide accurate maintenance feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve safe and reliable plant performance.

Does this sound like you?

 

• Electrical Trade Qualification and unrestricted Electrical Licence.
• Experience in fixed plant, processing or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safe work practices.
• The ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Exposure to MCCs, VSDs, PLCs and instrumentation, with HV Switching, Hazardous Area or Instrumentation qualifications highly regarded.(Evolution will support Electricians in obtaining Certificate III Instrumentation)
