Overhead Crane Operator – 3rd Shift

Location: South Milwaukee, WI

Shifts: 3rd Shift (Full-Time)

Bonus: $2,000 Sign-On & Retention Bonus

Pay Progression

  • Step 1: $26.47/hr
  • Step 2: $27.41/hr
  • Step 3: $28.34/hr
  • Shift Premium: +$1.00/hr for 3rd shift

Caterpillar is hiring Overhead Crane Operators with experience safely moving and positioning heavy materials, to join our manufacturing team in South Milwaukee, WI.

At our South Milwaukee facility, you’ll be part of a team that builds some of the largest and most powerful mining machines in the world. This facility specializes in the production of Cat® Electric Rope Shovels (ERS) used in mining operations around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate 30-ton or larger overhead cranes and jib cranes to move heavy materials
  • Safely hitch, unhitch, raise, lower, and position loads using proper rigging techniques
  • Select and inspect rigging equipment including chains, clevises, hooks, and slings

Summary Pay Range:

$22.38 - $29.47
