Swift Underground is an turn-key fibre optic installation company located in Steinbach, MB. We use industry leading equipment and technologies to install, test, and deliver high-speed fibre networks. Swift Underground also continues to manage the Swift High Speed network and continues to schedule new installs and service repairs. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative.
Position Summary:
The individual in this position will be responsible for the initial and ongoing communications of our wireless broadband internet service and fibre to the home service. This position will assist our current Customer Service staff as well as the level two Network Technicians.
Our ideal candidate will highly value honesty, have excellent customer service skills, and be understanding with a broad range of concerns from customers. Interest in computers and networking technologies is a plus. This would be considered a career position, with opportunities for advancement and raises.
Essential Job Functions:
• Answer phones and emails with new service requests
• Perform pre-installation qualifications to determine service eligibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic customer support requests
• Assist customers with their home electronics via phone or email support
• Arrange for install and repair appointments for the field staff
Position Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Basic knowledge of MS Office suite of applications
• Able to communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner
• Able to read between the lines, understand customer requests when they are not presented clearly
• Keen eye for organizing and ensuring field staff are scheduled appropriately and logically
Compensation:
Beginning salary $15-$18/hr. Future raises and advancement opportunities based on job performance.
