Introduction to the job

Join ASML Brion as a Software Applications Engineer and help shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing. In this role, you will drive the deployment and adoption of our Process Window Control (PWC) solutions, working closely with leading semiconductor customers, ASML global organizations, and Brion R&D teams in the United States. You will solve complex manufacturing challenges, introduce innovative products, and enable advanced technology nodes from development through high-volume production.

Role and responsibilities

• Drive deployment and adoption of ASML Brion Process Window Control (PWC) products at leading semiconductor manufacturers.
• Partner with customers, ASML global teams, and Brion US R&D to enable advanced technology nodes and high-volume manufacturing.
• Solve complex lithography and process control challenges through data-driven analysis and innovative solutions.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure stable operation and continuous improvement in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Lead new product introduction, qualification, and integration activities.
  Influence future product development by translating customer needs into product requirements and roadmap enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership and training to internal and external stakeholders.

Education

• Master or PhD degree preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in source-mask co-optimization or model simulation using ASML scanner fingerprint files.
• Experience in scanner matching/mismatch analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software debugging skills.
• Proficiency in Linux commands.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of computational lithography, lithography process, or process control is preferred.
• Previous experience with direct customer engagement is preferred.
• Background in mask data preparation, physical design, lithography, or wafer processing is preferred.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Skills

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, lithography, OPC, or computational imaging is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong ownership in driving results

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
