  • Use SQL, SAS, and other analytical tools to interrogate, manipulate, and validate complex datasets.
  • Apply robust validation and quality assurance processes to all deliverables.
  • Investigate data-related issues and client queries, conducting root cause analysis and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the delivery of proof-of-concepts, new products, and data-driven solutions.

Operational Excellence

  • Plan, prioritise, and manage workload across multiple deliveries and projects.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates and delivery timescales.
  • Monitor progress against commitments and escalate risks or issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices, documentation, and standards.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure all deliveries comply with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of data protection, security, and compliance obligations.
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate operational and delivery risks.
  • Support audit, governance, and control activities where required.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Support and coach junior team members, sharing technical expertise and best practice.
  • Lead or actively contribute to delivery reviews, project discussions, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Champion knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL and/or SAS programming skills.
  • Experience working with complex datasets and data transformation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • You can engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience investigating and resolving data-related issues.

  • Experience delivering data solutions in a client-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues.
  • Experience working within project or change delivery environments.
