Data Architect

Our client is seeking a Data Architect for a contract opportunity. The role will support the development of scalable data architecture, improved data quality and reliable integration across the organisation, ensuring data solutions remain aligned with long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and evolve data domain architectures that support business activities and strategic goals Design the structure and layout of data systems and platforms, ensuring they are scalable and fit for purpose Assess the impact of business change on existing data architecture and support the prioritisation of required changes Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to translate business needs into clear data requirements Ensure project data designs align with the overall data architecture and resolve issues early to support successful delivery Work closely with application and integration teams to deliver reliable, well-documented integrations that meet agreed standards Improve the way data is structured, managed and shared to promote quality, consistency and interoperability Support improvements to data flows, data integration and data management across business initiatives Job Requirements: Proven experience in data architecture or data modelling, with a track record of delivering scalable and well-structured data solutions Strong understanding of data integration, data exchange and data architecture within complex environments Ability to think strategically and connect data decisions to wider business outcomes Experience designing data systems, platforms and domain architectures Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and explaining complex technical ideas clearly Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret strategic plans and identify opportunities to improve data quality and flow Understanding of application integration, interoperability and data governance principles Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills Contract Opportunity: This contract Data Architect role offers the opportunity to contribute to important technology and data transformation initiatives, working collaboratively with stakeholders, application teams and integration specialists.
