What you'll do

  • Lead, plan, execute and monitor one or several Data Governance initiatives and all the associated sub-streams of work.
  • Contribute to the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of the Data Governance Framework and its operating model.
  • Analize business & technology teams needs from a Data Governance perspective and identify & implement adequate standards and solutions, particularly those regarding the Data Governance Pillars under your responsibility and/or to which you contribute.
  • Support the inventory of Data Domain products and underlying data assets with the help of business and data teams across Ubisoft.
  • Coordinate actions with business and Data Domain teams to apply data governance requirements to their assets and promote their usage across the company, particularly the Data Governance Pillars under your responsibility.
  • Drive change through Ubisoft by engaging your partners and progressively get to a target state where Data governance is applied by default.
  • Contribute to ensuring Data Protection (e.g., Data Access Mgmt. & Regulatory Compliance).
  • Closely collaborate with technical partners (Domain Enabling, Data Platform, Architects, …) to define and promote internal standards and best practices for Data Product design and development (e.g., Modelling, Architecture, Access Management, Data Quality Management, Master Data usage & Interoperability…).
  • Partner closely with our technology teams to propose and coordinate the implementation of the right tools/platforms to enable Data Governance implementation within Data Domain teams, with a particular focus on Computational Data Governance (Data Governance by design and highly automated).
  • Grow data teams skills and awareness about Data Governance through sharing, events, coaching/mentoring as well as Ubisoft employee’s data culture.
  • Track and report on progress & success for your project(s) and improve/adapt the framework constantly, particularly regarding the Data Governance Pillars you are responsible for.
  • Stay up to date on data industry trends and introduce them to the data department and practitioners across the company.

Job Description

Within Ubisoft International Headquarters, you will join the Ubisoft Data Office, responsible for Ubisoft’s Data Strategy, Governance, and a variety of data services and products for storing, processing, distributing, analyzing, and surfacing data across the company.

As Data Governance Standards Specialist, you will become part of the core Data Governance team that leads the way towards making Ubisoft’s data trustworthy and easily available, while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
