About this role

Champion innovation at the intersection of technology and business, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver analytics products that drive real value.

As a Data Product Owner on the Digital Data Owner team, you will lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of trusted digital data across web, mobile app, and shared digital experiences. You’ll ensure digital interaction, journey, experimentation, metadata, and performance data is defined, controlled, measurable, and fit for use across analytics, personalization, orchestration, AI/ML, marketing activation, and decisioning.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the Digital Channels data ownership agenda across web, mobile app, and shared digital surfaces, translating business priorities into a clear data strategy and roadmap

  • Shape standards and stewardship for key digital data domains — including pages, placements, content, interactions, journeys, experiments, offers, campaigns, containers, tags, and identity linkages — in partnership with domain owners across Digital, Product, and Marketing

  • Partner across Product, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, Architecture, Privacy, Risk, Controls, and Data & Analytics to define requirements, standards, and delivery priorities

  • Deliver governed digital data products that support reporting, experimentation, personalization, orchestration, customer engagement, AI/ML, marketing activation, and performance transparency

  • Enable AI, agentic, and advanced analytics use cases through clear metadata, lineage, quality controls, access rules, and business context

  • Define metadata, taxonomy, tagging, container, and measurement standards to improve consistency, discoverability, interoperability, and reuse

  • Drive data quality, lineage, controls, access, retention, and protection routines for digital interaction and behavioral data

  • Lead and coach team members while building scalable routines for governance, issue resolution, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in digital data, data management, analytics, product data ownership, digital platforms, marketing technology, experimentation, or data governance

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable STEM field

  • Proven ability to lead data strategy, governance, and delivery for digital channels, customer-facing platforms, or large-scale digital ecosystems

  • Experience with metadata, taxonomy, measurement definitions, data quality, access controls, lineage, and fit-for-use standards

  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; able to translate complex data topics into clear business decisions

  • Strong business acumen with ability to connect data priorities to customer engagement, experience optimization, growth, efficiency, risk reduction, and measurable value

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with web or mobile analytics, behavioral data, customer engagement platforms, content management, campaign platforms, experimentation, or personalization

  • Working knowledge of data, analytics, cloud, and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Python, AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks

  • Experience building or governing data products such as pages libraries, placements libraries, identity mapping, experimentation datasets, metrics repositories, or interaction datasets

  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, stand up new capabilities, improve operating models, and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority

  • Advanced degree or relevant certification in data, analytics, digital product, cloud, marketing technology, privacy, risk, or data governance
