Job Description

We're looking for a Data Solutions Data Analyst to join our growing CDO Data Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills, a naturally curious mindset, and a passion for solving problems through data.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating real-world challenges into meaningful data solutions that support critical decision-making. While experience is important, we're more interested in potential. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, confident collaborating with others, and motivated to build both their technical expertise and understanding of investment data.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with business users to understand their goals, challenges and data requirements
• Using SQL to search, query, investigate and analyse enterprise data
• Modelling, manipulating and testing data to support reliable solutions
• Translating requirements into user stories, features and clear acceptance criteria
• Producing data flows, mapping specifications and service descriptions
• Investigating data issues and identifying root causes with relevant stakeholders
• Supporting users through User Acceptance Testing
• Collaborating with data, technology, change and business colleagues to create sustainable solutions

Who we’re looking for:

• Practical experience using SQL to query and analyse data
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Experience gathering requirements or working directly with business users
• Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A curious approach and willingness to research unfamiliar problems
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing within data and asset management
• Exposure to asset management, investments or financial services would be beneficial
• Python, data governance or BI/reporting experience would be helpful but is not essential
