- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.

- Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in SQL Server
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server database management and administration including with large scale SQL Server databases.
- Hands on experience implementing and maintaining Always - On Availability Groups is required. Knowledge of additional replication models in a plus.
- Hands on experience implementing and maintaining SQL Server encryption models including TDE, Always Encrypt, SSL connections, etc.
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL/T-SQL queries and jobs.
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies.

A great SQL Server Database Administrator at Fiserv will be part of a team that builds and maintains large-scale and very high transaction SQL Server databases on Windows Server platforms.
The SQL Server DBA will focus on setting up SQL clusters in an azure environment. The DBA is responsible for tasks such as development of best practices and repeatable procedures for deploying databases, day-to-day operational activities including break/fix, capacity management, backup and recovery, database replication setup/management and ongoing database change reviews. to as well as other SQL Server Databases.
