- Drive technology transformation across existing and new data products while enforcing change, incident, and problem management processes.
- Implement Lean practices across database operations to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate across organizational boundaries with leadership teams to support strategic enterprise technology goals.

- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, a related technical field (e.g., Physics or Mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
- 10–15 years of experience in database administration, system administration, performance tuning, and 24/7 operational support for traditional databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL).
- Previous experience in leading technical teams of engineers.
- 4+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytical services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Composer).
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python, or Chef) and using source code repositories (GitHub).
- Demonstrated experience designing and building production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within hybrid big data architectures.
- Hands-on proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tooling and practices.

- Strong experience in GCP Cloud platform

As the Database Engineering Lead, you will balance technical leadership with hands-on execution, direct-managing a small team to optimize and scale our enterprise data platforms.
