Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Delivery Business Systems Analyst located in Prai, Penang.

Responsible for analyzing complex business problems in order to solve them with automated systems and will also be responsible for designed details for automated systems in order to make them more efficient. Supporting the IT system development projects team for the business, responsible for administering and maintaining the organization’s information systems to ensure that they function reliably and in accordance with user needs.

What a typical day looks like:

• Determinate required improvements on the systems, supervising its correct implementation in order to meet customer’s requirements.

• Support customer’s application.

• Analyze new requirements.

• Supervise staff on the determination of methods and procedures on new assignments.

• Write functional and technical specifications for developers.

• Analyzes, defines and documents system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs.

• Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, compatibility with other systems and computer capabilities.

• Determinate required improvements on the systems, supervising its correct implementation in order to meet customer’s requirements.

• Support customers application

• Use skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

• Verify newly developed processes.

• Develop impromptu reports according to user’s requests.

• Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Functional knowledge, education background in Systems or industrial engineer, Computer science, programming, or related careers; or relevant working experience required.

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferable.

• Experience and general knowledge of computerized databases, supply chain management and process guidelines.

• Communication, analytical skills, problem solving, critical thinking, team player, proactive, adaptable and always ready to learn.

• Ability to successfully follow up closure and complete projects assigned.
