You’ll be joining a cohort of talented students from a variety of schools across the U.S. We hire interns in the following positions: Process Engineering, R&D, Strategic Sourcing, Technical Sales, Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Information Technology, and more.  

The projects we task our interns to lead are impactful and meaningful to our organization. You’ll be supported by your Manager and Mentor to gain in-depth knowledge of the adhesive industry and collaborate with various departments and functions. Our Internship Experience includes:

Position Overview:

The Demand Planning Intern will support the demand planning team by improving forecast visibility, reporting accuracy, and data-driven decision-making through data analytics, Power BI, and emerging AI tools. This role will partner with demand planners and cross-functional business partners to analyze demand trends, customer and product patterns, forecast performance, and planning exceptions. The intern will gain exposure to demand planning processes while contributing to dashboards, analysis, and recommendations that help improve forecast quality, planning efficiency, and business decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze demand planning data to identify trends, forecast gaps, customer and product patterns, and opportunities to improve planning accuracy.

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to improve visibility to demand trends, forecast performance, planning exceptions, and key business metrics.

• Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources to support accurate reporting, analysis, and demand planning recommendations.

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring manual reports, forecast reviews, or exception tracking through Power BI, Excel, or AI-enabled tools.

• Apply AI concepts to explore practical use cases such as demand signal analysis, forecast summarization, exception reporting, and planning insight generation.

• Prepare clear summaries, visualizations, and recommendations for demand planning, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Rising junior or senior with an interest in demand planning, forecasting, analytics, data visualization, and business process improvement.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel required; exposure to Power BI, data visualization, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools preferred.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.

• Effective communication, curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $22-$25 per hour.
