What you'll do

  • Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
  • Place and track purchase requisitions for program materials.
  • Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Work daily to confirm material supply and demands.
  • Prepare work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
  • Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions; and take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile the system.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
  • Perform movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other areas) as needed.
  • Work closely with the factory, supply chain and operations teams, to ensure effective program execution. In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate for a MRP Demand/Supply Scheduler role within the Advanced Product Center area in McKinney, TX supporting developing programs. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
