What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate and execute scale studies on large mining trucks using the scale truck system

  • Prepare for studies and test conditions to ensure accurate and repeatable scale measurements in collaboration with the customer and dealer.

  • Set up, calibrate, and verify scale equipment prior to testing activities

  • Work closely with site teams to schedule and stage trucks for scale study execution

  • Ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with safety protocols and site requirements

  • Monitor and document scale study results, ensuring data accuracy and completeness

  • Troubleshoot issues with scale systems, test setup, or data collection as they arise

  • Provide clear communication to engineers and stakeholders regarding test setup and execution

  • Transport the Global mining scale truck to and from scale study site (requires CDL)

What You Will Have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
 

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

  • CDL must be a class A.

  • Nice to have would be MSHA certification as well.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
