Design Lead Engineer (M/W/D)

As a Design Lead Engineer, you contribute to the success of our projects by coordinating and overseeing the entire design process. You will be part of the Engineering Team and ensure that all design-related activities are carried out successfully.

 

You will work closely with the Design Team and collaborate with structural engineers, project engineers, the lead project manager, and other specialists in their respective fields. In this role, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

·                 Create designs using 3D models (Autodesk Inventor) in accordance with project-specific specifications and applicable standards.

·                 Prepare assembly drawings and detailed part drawings for various welded structures, including the associated material bills of materials (BOMs).

·                 Generate material take-offs for procurement and provide technical support to the Sales Team.

·                 Manage and coordinate external international engineering offices.

·                 Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and technical standards within the design team.

 

 What you bring

·                 A successfully completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or Structural/Steel Engineering).

·                 More than 5 years of experience in industrial plant engineering and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

·                 Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.

·                 Experience in the design of steel structures, ducts, hot gas systems, or comparable industrial equipment.

·                 Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

·                 Creativity, initiative, and a strong team-oriented mindset, combined with excellent communication skills.
