Design Manager

Job Title: Design Manager  

Experience: 5-7 years 

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Art Director with a strong background in design, extensive experience in UI/UX, and a deep understanding of web technologies and Kids' book design (Print) and motion graphics video creation. As the Art Director, you will lead our design team, shaping the visual identity of our projects and ensuring an exceptional user experience across various platforms. 

Responsibilities: 

·        Leadership: 

o  Lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. 

o  Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting skill development and career growth. 

o  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to align design efforts with overall project goals. 

·        Design Direction: 

o  Define and maintain a cohesive design strategy that aligns with the company's brand and goals. 

o  Oversee the creation of high-quality visual designs, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution. 

o  Stay current with design trends, UI/UX best practices, and emerging web technologies. 

·        UI/UX Excellence: 

o  Drive the creation of intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications. 

o  Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction. 

o  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into compelling design solutions. 

·        Project Management: 

o  Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. 

o  Collaborate with project managers to prioritize design tasks and allocate resources effectively. 

o  Provide design expertise and recommendations during project planning and execution phases. 

·        Technical Proficiency: 

o  Possess a strong understanding of web technologies and their impact on design decisions. 

o  Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product. 

o  Keep abreast of advancements in web technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into design processes. 

Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field. 

·        Proven experience as an Art Director with a focus on UI/UX design. 

·        Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrated leadership in design teams. 

·        Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma is a must. 

·        In-depth knowledge of web technologies, responsive design, and print design. 

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
