The Coordinator serves as a vital member of our Events team—a collaborative, mission-driven, donor- and sponsor-focused group of professionals who are committed to delivering best-in-class events through a spirit of teamwork and support. The Coordinator contributes, in part, to the successful execution of 100+ annual events that unite and celebrate our vibrant donor community and raise $20M+ annually to support the mission of the Mass General Brigham Development Office.

With appropriate guidance, the Coordinator handles several important administrative event team functions, including calendar management, preparations and follow-up for meetings and events, business expenses and travel arrangements, among others. The Coordinator handles data entry, including event RSVPs and registration information for a range of event activity. The Coordinator also assists in the planning and successful execution of events, including providing on-site support.

Essential Functions (Key Roles & Responsibilities)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required and 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or relationship-building role. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational, time management, problem solving and project management skills  
  • Command of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, or the ability to learn them quickly
