What you'll do: - Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting signs of wear and maintenance activities.
- Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete minor repairs under supervision.
- Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and parts catalogs; dismantle equipment to access defective parts.
- Operate and inspect heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety procedures and certification requirements.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and coordinate vehicle maintenance and transportation as needed.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and ethical standards while supporting team collaboration.
What you'll bring: - Proven ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and prioritize tasks efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver’s license and able to pass motor vehicle report.
Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
