Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Work with AWS and/or Azure cloud services for application hosting and infrastructure management.
- Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and environments.
- Work with Docker for containerization and application deployments.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes environments such as EKS/AKS.
- Automate routine operational tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Assist in managing logs, alerts, and system monitoring.
- Support basic cloud networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and security groups.
- Follow basic DevSecOps and cloud security practices, including access control and secrets management.
- Troubleshoot deployment, server, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth application releases.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
- Maintain proper documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or a related role.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD tool, such as:
- GitHub Actions
- GitLab CI
- Jenkins
- Working knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Understanding of Docker and containerization.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes is good to have.
- Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts such as DNS, security groups, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of cloud security, access management, and secrets management.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
