What you'll do
- Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes: Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure and production Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and cost optimization.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and systems provisioning.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across network devices, firewalls, cloud services, and containerized environments.
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Monitor overall system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and serve as an escalation point for production, hardware, and network outages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developer teams and technical stakeholders to improve core infrastructure operational standards, systems tooling, and developer experience.
- Network & Systems Administration: Design, configure, and maintain local and cloud networking environments, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, routing protocols, and firewall rules to ensure secure, high-speed connectivity.
- Hardware & Infrastructure Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware failure, server degradation, and physical or virtual connectivity issues.

About the Role
As a DevOps / Systems Engineer, you will drive our cloud and core system infrastructure, network reliability, and automation efforts. Working closely with the DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, security, and scalability of our AWS-based cloud environment alongside our underlying network and hardware infrastructure. This hybrid infrastructure serves thousands of customers globally, influencing the experiences of millions of people across the world.
You will bring a strong background spanning systems administration, network engineering, and modern DevOps practices. You have a passion for network architecture, firewall management, hardware troubleshooting, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies—striving to streamline operational workflows while maintaining maximum uptime and security.
