What you'll do
- Perform general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, portable fluoroscopy, and operating room imaging
- Prepare and administer contrast materials under radiologist direction (e.g., GI studies, venograms, cystograms, arthrography)
- Accurately operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic‑quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
- Record radiation dose data for fluoroscopy and portable fluoroscopy exams
- Review, validate, and process radiology orders in CPRS/VistA
- Register, complete, cancel, and edit imaging exams in VA systems
- Perform imaging studies according to urgency (STAT, urgent, routine, pre‑op)
- Ensure image quality, repeat/reject analysis, and compliance with departmental quality thresholds
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure images are properly uploaded to PACS
- Follow infection control, sterile technique, radiation safety, and VA safety policies
- Assist radiologists/physicians during procedures and anticipate procedural needs
- Identify patients correctly and ensure proper image labeling and documentation

Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT / X‑ray techs) to support operations at the White River Junction VA Medical Center located at 215 N. Main Street White River Junction, VT 05009. Multiple shift schedules available. Qualifications
