Digital Commerce Optimization Analyst (Hybrid)

What you'll do
- Own day-to-day management and optimization of onsite search, including search rules, boosting, slotting, relevancy, and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to improve search results, product discovery, conversion, and revenue.
- Analyze search reporting to identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and areas requiring optimization.
- Partner with merchandising, digital, technology, and analytics teams to ensure search results align with customer intent and business priorities.
- Develop and execute search optimization strategies based on customer behavior, product performance, seasonal trends, and business objectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to test and improve search performance.
- Manage and optimize AI-powered shopping experiences, including the AI Shopping Assistant.
- Own inputs, content, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the experience.
- Analyze performance to understand customer engagement, conversion, revenue contribution, and overall site impact.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, expand use cases, and increase adoption and effectiveness.
- Monitor performance and proactively recommend enhancements, tests, and new opportunities.
- Stay current on emerging AI and ecommerce optimization capabilities and identify ways to improve the customer journey.

The Digital Commerce Optimization Analyst will play a key role in optimizing the digital shopping experience across onsite search, product recommendations, and AI-powered shopping tools. Key Responsibilities
Onsite Search Optimization
- Own day-to-day management and optimization of onsite search, including search rules, boosting, slotting, relevancy, and merchandising strategies.

Product Recommendations & Personalization
- Support the ongoing optimization and performance management of product recommendation experiences across the site.
- Monitor product recommendation performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, revenue, and product discovery.
- Analyze placement and product performance to identify opportunities for optimization and testing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that improve the effectiveness of recommendation experiences.
- Continuously evaluate opportunities to expand and improve recommendation capabilities across the customer journey.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain recurring reporting and performance insights for search, recommendations, and AI shopping experiences.
- Analyze data to identify trends, performance opportunities, and potential issues.
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for business partners and leadership.
- Use Excel and other analytical tools to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
- Learn and apply ecommerce KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue per visitor/session, average order value, engagement, revenue contribution, and other site performance metrics.
- Develop a strong understanding of how onsite discovery and optimization tools contribute to overall ecommerce performance.
