The Director, APAC HR Shared Services leads the delivery and transformation of HR shared services across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality employee experience through operational excellence, service delivery, process improvement, and team leadership across multiple Global Service Centers.
As a key member of the global HR Shared Services organization, the Director will drive service consistency, operational efficiency, and the adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions to create a scalable, modern HR service model. The role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and country HR teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and employee-focused services across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HR Shared Services delivery across APAC, including HR Direct, Data Management, Talent Acquisition Operations, Learning Operations, and in-country HR support.
Drive operational excellence through service management, process standardization, continuous improvement, and performance metrics.
Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team while building organizational capability and bench strength.
Champion AI-enabled and self-service solutions that improve the employee experience and increase operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale HR processes across the organization.
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and governance across the region.
Contribute to global HR Shared Services strategy, standards, and transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Significant experience leading HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or a related function in a complex, global environment, including experience leading multi-country teams and organizational transformation.
Proven people leadership of sizeable teams, including leading managers and operating across multiple locations and cultures.
Strong track record in service management, including process improvement, controls, and data-driven performance management.
Experience leading organizational change, operating model evolution, and service transformation initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively across senior HR and business leaders.
Working knowledge of Workday.
Working knowledge of contact-center and case-management platforms.
Preferred
Experience within APAC, including India and China.
Experience implementing HR technology, automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
Experience scaling shared services or service-center operations
