We are seeking a Director to join our Safety Sciences Delivery team, supporting our oncology portfolio in a hybrid model. In this role, you will lead compliant safety operations and serve as the primary oncology contact while collaborating with Safety Sciences Strategy and cross-functional teams. Discover your role:

  • Standardise practices, processes, and templates for signal detection and safety-document authoring.

  • Ensure compliant Safety Sciences Delivery activities through regulations, standard operating procedures, and monitoring tools.

  • Lead oncology signal detection and management, including Safety Monitoring Teams, surveillance plans, and evaluation reports.

  • Integrate innovative technologies into core safety activities.

  • Analyse aggregate data with Safety Sciences Strategy to identify emerging safety issues and patterns.

  • Coordinate benefit-risk assessments and safety contributions across periodic reports and portfolio documents.

  • Develop standardised training curricula, proficiency matrices, and knowledge repositories across Strategy and Operations.

  • You build, coach, and scale teams through succession planning, talent pipelines, and leadership development.

This role requires:

  • Advanced life sciences or healthcare degree with 12+ years of pharmacovigilance experience.

  • Safety Sciences experience, preferably within oncology.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organisation, workload planning, and detail orientation.

  • Ability to optimise safety operations and manage multiple projects.

  • Global patient safety operations oversight experience preferred.

  • Matrix leadership, people management, and artificial intelligence technology experience preferred.
