Job Description:

Director, Integrated Media Planning – Retail

Overview

We are OMD, Cannes Lions 2024 Media Network of the Year, RECMA's Best-Performing Media Network Globally, and COMvergence's #1 Global Agency Network. As the world’s largest media network, with more than 12,000 people working in over 100 countries, we excel at making better decisions, faster. By combining innovation, creativity, empathy, and evidence, we help clients move faster, reach further, and take smarter risks in a world full of opportunities

We pride ourselves on being a people-obsessed, outcomes-focused business that applies evidence and data-based solutions, married with the practice of empathy, to drive performance and growth. When working with our clients, we put ourselves in the shoes of the consumer in order to see the world through their eyes. We focus on finding greater empathy with the consumer so as to uncover insights and opportunities that deliver more valued and valuable connections.

As the Director, Integrated Media Planning You'll be working on one of Omnicom's most important, high-impact accounts with a team that's as creative as it is collaborative—and your work will have direct visibility with OMD's entire c-suite. This isn't a supporting role; you're stepping in to own the strategic vision for the client’s strategic media approach. You'll partner directly with the Brand Lead and Portfolio Strategy/Planning Lead to fundamentally reshape how we think about planning and drive measurable brand impact through media. This is a rare opportunity to lead transformation for a growth brand, working alongside senior leaders who will champion your ideas and accelerate your growth.

This is a pivotal moment for the brand. We're at an inflection point—new visionary leadership is steering the ship, we're amplifying our brand story in Q3, and we've got game-changing product launches lined up for Q4. 2026 is the beginning of a bold new era, and the momentum won't stop. As we continue evolving, we're doing something bigger: reimagining who our customer is and what they need from us. We're shifting from purely performance-driven narratives to building authentic cultural impact.

  • Relationship Building– practices the ability to be personal, understanding and a desire to do what’s best for the team and the client. Fully engaged and present with clients.
  • Inspiring Leadership – challenges a team to solve clients challenges in unique ways. Inspires others to try new approaches and serves as a role model to the team.
