  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights, privacy and property are protected at all times

Responsibilities

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for the management of the facility’s inquiry and admissions process.  The admissions coordinator is responsible for increasing quality census by educating the community, customers and referral sources of the long-term care benefits and admission process.

Admissions Coordinator Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • RN/LPN License Preferred but not required
  • Must posses extensive marketing and/or admissions experience
  • Have a thorough understanding of the principles of best admissions practices
  • Must possess managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Requires judgment in prioritizing the performance of tasks, duties and responsibilities in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures
  • The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Compliance and HIPAA
  • The ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
