Reports to: General Manager 

Supervises: Housekeeping Department    

Job Summary: The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for managing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency throughout the hotel. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, training, and inventory management, while also collaborating with the General Manager to maintain service standards, control costs, and implement departmental programs. 

 

Essential Functions and Duties: 

  • Manage daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. 

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff. 

  • Plan and organize cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

  • Full-time position with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
